Come join us for the 2023 San Diego Bay Parade of Lights Awards Banquet Dinner at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on San Diego Bay on Wednesday, January 17th at 6pm. It will feature a buffet dinner and no host bar, along with an awards ceremony. Cost is $20 per person. If you were on a boat in the parade, you can attend this Award Dinner Banquet with no host bar. Click here to purchase your Award Banquet Tickets.

Thousands of families at Cesar Chavez Pier at the southern judging station are depending on you to sail past the pier, and not to cut across early to Coronado! You must pass all 3 judges towers (including the on one Cesar Chavez Pier) to qualify for the bounty of prizes!

The $75 ($100 after Dec 2) entry fee covers Parade participation for both evenings. All orders submitted after Dec 2nd at 11am will need to pick up your skippers packet at the Bali Hai Restaurant after December 5th, during the day.

Step 1. YOU MUST READ and AGREE TO THE SKIPPERS’ NOTICE and waiver paragraph below.

By filling out the registration form, you are agreeing to this WAIVER, RELEASE and INDEMNITY: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Parade, related events and activities, I agree to release and waive any and all claims and / or lawsuits against SAN DIEGO BAY PARADE OF LIGHTS, a Public Benefit Corporation, it’s members, officers, directors, Parade Committee, the Port of San Diego, and all other sponsoring organizations (“Released Parties”), for any loss or damages due to bodily injury, death or property damage sustained while participating in the Parade and related events and activities. There are other ways to participate in the San Diego Bay Parade of Lights besides entering your boat in the Parade. Each year we ask for ‘picket boat’ volunteers to help our Parade entrants stay on the predetermined route.

Picket boat volunteers must arrive in their own boat prior to the Parade start time, and each boat will be assigned a designated station to drop anchor. The dedication and commitment of our volunteers is what makes this not-for-profit, free event all possible!

For more information or to sign up to be a picket boat volunteer, please Bill at cdredwards@cox.net.
